One of the Greatest People You'll Never Meet

Just remembered it was groundhog day a few days ago. We have 6 more weeks of winter! I’m glad because I just bought a new sweater and flannel. If anyone is curious as to how groundhog day works, “If the groundhog sees his shadow, there is no cloud cover, hence heat from the Earth escapes and it continues to be cold. If he doesn’t see his shadow, clouds are present and the Earth’s heat is reflected back and we get an early spring.” I thought it was interesting. 

I headed off to the rec center and tried running, but I failed miserably. I danced for a bit afterward but my legs were hurting so I ended early. Made lunch for myself, Tony, and Fierce. It was especially delicious because it was cheap. Rolled around the house for a bit, then headed off to run errands. Hit up Emily to come with me. I went to go buy apples from the grocery store and ended up buying the wrong ones. Headed home and my big’s gift was there, finally. My parents came home Thursday to my surprise, and no one told me. Went to Chick-fil-a and got Emily her first spicy chicken sandwich from there. She loved it! :D I’m working again for 18 hours this upcoming week, and got big ol check for $350 to surprise me. Headed to the Lab afterwards and poked around. Got a cute new shirt, flannel, and a sweater, and I got this cool photo album from Urban that says “It Was All Fucking Awesome.”

When I got home, Lee’s sandwiches guy called me! I was so nervous. When I was about to head out, my roommates were like, “you’re wearing that?” so then they gave me some advice on what to wear. Tony let me borrow his khaki Levi jeans and his leather jacket. Fierce said I look like I have steeze now. We went to Yogurtland and talked and got to know each other. I had a lot of fun. He’s a really passionate about something and I really like that about him. I hope we can hang out again.
