One of the Greatest People You'll Never Meet

Woke up dark and early to head to work. When I got to work, I forgot my clock-in PIN so I arrived at 9, but didn’t clock in till noon, lawl. People from corporate were coming to visit so the store had to look extra nice. Steven made me go outside in the cold, windy, almost rain to scrub down the loading area. I made it look damn nice, though. Work went by relatively quickly. Headed here-home (that’s what Joey calls it [my Long Beach home]) to shower and get ready for Info Night. On the way to the Soroptimist House, I ran into Joey and brought him along to Info Night. There were so many rushees, it was so wonderful to see all of them there :D Afterwards, we all headed to the Wingstop fundraiser. Joey wasn’t planning on going because he had homework to do, but I turned on my bad influence and he decided to go. I felt bad for a bit, but I’m really glad he came. He was really great with all of the actives and everyone. He seems genuinely interested in AphiO, so I hope he pledges. I took him back to the library so he could get some work done. When we said goodbye, we shared a nice, long hug and he give me a kiss on my cheek. I was floating on cloud nine after that. I told you this was going to be a good semester. :)
